“These Broken Stars”

Stars

Oh. My. Gosh! This is officially the best YA book I’ve read in a long time. I don’t even know why I loved it so much, but all I can say is that it captured my attention — and my heart — from the very beginning. And that’s weird, since I usually don’t like books written from multiple POVs. But, nope, not this time. I absolutely, one-hundred-percent recommend this book! Go out and get your hands on a copy! Stat!

*** WARNING ***

I’m so not a fan of anything that is remotely insta-love or love-at-first-sight (like many YA novels are these days), and I have to say that the beginning of this book worried me because it looked like it was going to travel down that path. But don’t fear! Because while it might seem like it’s heading that way based on the first few chapters, it’s not – not for a long time. So stick with it and keep reading because there are plenty of thrilling challenges and harrowing adventures before the two main characters even begin to warm up to each other properly.
